Cellular polyurethane with hydrocolloid membrane

• Polyurethane cellular foam pad, vertical absorption with uniform distribution of absorbent powder, attached to a hydrocolloid membrane that extends from the boundaries of the foam layer and acts as a perimeter adhesive. During the absorption of the exudate, a soft cohesive gel is formed which is held within the absorbent layer.
• The pad is coated with an air-permeable membrane impermeable to external liquids, dirt & bacteria, with a high retention that does not allow the exudate to leak through the membrane under pressure conditions, with hypoallergenic perimeter glue.
• Soft and elastic, in contact with the wound and removed without injuring the newly growing tissue.
• Due to the presence of silver ions, the Difa® Ag Exulock family has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, which helps reduce bioburden in infected wounds and acts as a microbial barrier in wounds with a high risk of infection or contamination.
